Jim Kirschner, President, Miles River Direct

In 2001, Jim and Anne formed Miles River Direct to focus exclusively on membership programs, specializing in direct response campaigns for zoos, aquariums, botanic gardens and museums. Today we enjoy great relationships with 27 happy clients!

Jim is a graduate of MIT and a self-described data geek. He has worked in the direct mail industry his entire career, beginning in 1975 at Epsilon Data Management.  In 1980, he founded Target Marketing (now Amergent) with a partner and was President there for 20 years.

Over the course of Jim’s career he has had the good fortune to work with more than 50 clients on their membership programs. He has delivered every phase of the direct mail process, from copywriting, creative direction, strategic planning and data analysis to print buying, machine operation, envelope stuffing and hand stamping. His extensive background helps our clients to the successes they are achieving today.

 

Anne Hutchins, CEO, Miles River Direct

Anne provides the back-office data analysis that ensures our client campaigns are always on the right course. Anne is a CPA and was a Manager at Arthur Anderson until 1993, when she entered the direct mail profession. She is highly skilled at direct mail analytics and operations, and a valuable member of the Miles River Direct team.

 TR Amrine, Vice President, Miles River Direct

TR Amrine joined the Miles River Direct team in 2018 after nearly two decades as Membership Director for a prominent AZA institution, where he built one of the largest and most successful membership programs in the country. Over the course of his career, TR has collaborated with top membership and development professionals from around the country, and is well known as a speaker and presenter in the membership arena.
